Late Fall Workshops - wow!

The topics for the last three workshops of the year are done, and, wow, I can't wait. There are two new ones, a transfer workshop and a spirit box workshop. Here's a sneak preview of the spirit box session:

Sunday, October 14 (3-5)

Spirit Boxes – Using the same technique of collage for the small shard pins, we’ll create a mixed-media construction for the top of a spirit box. What goes inside? That’s up to you, but I’ll have some suggestions. Materials, including small boxes, provided. Photos to come.

Sunday, October 28 (3-5)

Transfer Workshop – I’m excited about a technique I just learned using rice paper to transfer photographs and graphics (including old letters) to a collage surface. I’ll share this technique with you and, we’ll make transfers of your photos and then embellish them onto a collage for you to take home and treasure. All materials provided, bring your own photos if you like. Photos to come.

Sunday, November 4 (3-5)

Collage on Canvas – I’m offering a new session of this popular workshop for those of you who want to take it for the first time or repeat it. This one will fill quickly. All materials provided, although you are encouraged to bring the focal image for your own collage. See the video for the Sept. 9^th workshop for an intro.
